Marlow got off to a great start by attacking quickly down the left taking Windsor by surprise. Amanda scoring a great goal from the left.
This gave the 5s the confidence to win the game. The defence were put under pressure by Windsor but good clearances by Tammy, Bri and stand-in junior goalkeeper Adele kept Windsor from scoring.
In the second half Windsor changed their formation to maximise their opportunities to score by playing up high. Marlow though had also reflected on their structure and began to use their wings more, Anna and Amanda playing higher and wider being fed balls from Claire and Faye. This led to the game moving faster and giving Marlow the opportunity to attack.
Windsor defence again under pressure gave away a short corner. A rebounded strike from Faye led to Margot flicking the ball at the keeper. The ball came off the keeper's pads to score a 2nd goal.
In the final minutes of the game, a distracted Marlow led to Windsor attacking down their right and scoring a cracking goal. Marlow 5s securing the win should be pleased with their performance and should continue in the style of how they played in the 2nd half.
