Marlow entered 4 teams into last Sunday's Wokingham tournament, which turned out to be half of the total entry for the whole tournament. Reading and Wokingham provided the other 4 teams - which meant 4 games for everyone and lots of hockey with everyone playing at least 40 minutes.

Wokingham did a great job setting up the tournament and the games started promptly at 9am in Autumnal sunshine with 3 of the 4 Marlow teams out on the pitches right from the start. With an emphasis on fun hockey the goals flowed in all directions (in other words i've no idea what the scores were but the players were all smiling and charging about!)

Big thanks to my 3 fellow coaches/team managers Angus, Henry and Jason for making my life a lot easier and helping out massively with formations, tactics, motivation and "crowd" management - and thanks to all those who came along to play and watch!!

Next up we have the Year 3 Tournament at Sonning on Sunday 15th November, hopefully with more sunshine!! I've posted the fixture on Pitchero so please let me know if you want to play (many of you already have - thanks!)
