2 matches were played on this Home Counties Girls' League finals day at Woking, having come top of the league and winning the play off 2 weeks ago. The semi final against Richmond Tigers demonstrated lots of individual skills and most importantly great team work. Jess M-B scored a strong goal after 10 minutes and the majority of possession was in Marlow's favour. 2 hours later, the final against Sevenoaks was tougher, and proved too much of a stretch to prevent Sevenoaks scoring 3 goals, despite a reasonable amount of possession for Marlow and several short corners. However the team should hold their heads up high after an excellent season, and thanks go particularly to Steph for being such an inspiring coach, as well as all the other MSC helpers including Jo for her support, Jenny for her Manager role and all the parents for getting the girls to all the matches.
