The girls knew that we had a tough match ahead of us. We set out hard, not letting the Reading side get into the circle. Our solid defence Laneo5 and Nasher repeatedly cleared the ball safely from our 25 and passed it on to our speedy mids who drove up the pitch. The match was very even. In the last two minutes of the first half we conceded a short corner which Reading scored off.
In the second half the intensity dropped, we gave away 4 short corners in the first 10 minutes, 3 of which they scored off. We kept our heads high and tried our best to defend but Reading continued to drive into the D. We conceded two more goals which made the final score 5-0 to Reading.
