Hosts Marlow were crowned Buckinghamshire Mens County Cup Champions after finishing the tournament unbeaten.
In the opening game of the day Marlow drew 1-1 with Wycombe. Marlow took the lead inside the first 5 mins thanks to a Dave Guy deflection but junior international Liam Sandford levelled for Wycombe from a PC.
Marlow's own international, Jack Clee and Rob Gerrits then scored as Marlow convincingly beat Slough 2-0.
Marlow lead Aylesbury 2-0 (Jack Clee & Dave Harding)but the silver medalist put up a good fight as Marlow HC captain Kevin Chappell bagged an OG that pulled one back and seconds later Aylesbury scored what everyone thought would be goal of the day with a great deflection into the roof of the net to equalise. Jack Clee bagged the winner with two minutes to go which left Marlow just needing a draw against MK.
MK had played out three 0-0 draws but scored their first goal of the day thanks to an OG from Marlow's defender Sam North. Owen Francis levelled with 10 mins to go and Alex Land scored the goal of the day with an outrageous upright backhand to win the game and the Cup!
