The girls qualified in style, not conceding a goal or a short corner all day. They beat Plymouth 4-0 in game one, Bath 5-0 in game two and beat Bournemouth 1-0 in their final game. Bournemouth were by far the strongest opposition and there were times when the game could have gone either way. The girls maintained their cool under bouts of real pressure to score in the second half and then just needed to see out the final few minutes without conceding to win the tournament and progress to the next round.

We are incredibly proud of the girls and the levels of commitment and dedication to training they have shown throughout the year. They worked incredibly hard on the day to maintain the high standards they always set for themselves. We would love as many club members as possible to come and support us on 12th May.
