Men's results
Marlow men's 1st team were away to Oxford Hawks2 who have been their closest rivals all season and both unbeaten.
So, it was no surprise that it was a close match, goalless in the first half and ending in a 1-1 draw. Marlow were missing their leading scorer Callum White but had Luke Stone back after missing most of the season and Luke scored after Marlow had gone behind from a well taken short corner. The game was keenly contested with Marlow having most chances but Hawks played well and a draw was a fair result. It means that Marlow are still 3 points ahead of Hawks with a game in hand. Both teams seem likely to gain promotion and the final placings are in Marlow's hands.
The 2nd team were at home to Wallingford 1sts who had beaten them 3-0 earlier in the season. With a number of changes to the side, Marlow changed their tactics, and the team made a bright start, creating various goal-scoring opportunities. Wallingford settled and enjoyed a strong period leading up to halftime. After being denied by both posts and keeper Charlie May, the visitors finally broke the deadlock just before the break. Marlow quickly levelled the scores in the first minute of the second half after the ball was quickly moved forward for Dan Merrel to convert. A second goal for Marlow was disallowed and Wallingford we’re soon ahead once more. It was a nail-biter of a game and Marlow were able to pull level again via top scorer Dan Field. Chances for both sides followed but it was Field from a short corner who found the winner for Marlow with five minutes left. Final score 3-2 to Marlow.

Ladies' results
The Ladies 1s had an early start against local rivals Henley 1s on Saturday and it was Henley who had the first chance putting some good passes together, but Marlow keeper Dibs Haisman protected her goal with an early impressive save. During the first half, Marlow applied pressure at the Henley goal and the young keeper for Henley kept her side in the match until the 31st minute when Rachel Goodwin scored from a superbly struck short corner. The second half saw Marlow come out determined and mid-way through doubled their lead with a slick passing move finished by Grace Kisbee.
On Sunday the team played their rearranged match with Bournemouth who scored first against the run of play with a penalty stroke after a foot on the line at a short corner. After half time they scored another and then Marlow finally got their act together and scored a really great team goal scored by Kerri Smith. Rachel Goodwin scored the equaliser with a brilliant strike at a short corner.
These results leave Marlow in 3rd spot in the league with a close eye on other results as still a chance for promotion.
Marlow Ladies 2s took on second place Oxford 2s at Pound Lane. It was Oxford who took an early lead but Marlow drew level just before halftime with a goal from Emily Gillespie. The second half saw Marlow attacking constantly but the Oxford defence kept strong and Marlow had to be aware of some strong Oxford counter-attacking. With 5 minutes to go in the match Marlow took the lead from an expertly executed short corner finished by Lenny Conetta. Oxford pushed for an equaliser but ran out of time and the game finished 2-1. Marlow 2s remain top of the table with 3 matches to play.
