Another win for U14 Girls

A rather panicky start for coach Rees, who had been left alone for this match as Porter and Gerrits were at Schools U16 Indoor South champs, as our ever present keeper Mila was not there at the meet time. Luckily, just a timing issue and she was there for the start. Marlow started strongly and soon found the net with Sarah Pearce ever present at the left post. Marlow's dominance in the Wycombe D would prove difficult for more goals to come as just so conjested. Sophie Willis doubled their lead with a great strike midway through the half. The second half saw Marlow try to move the ball around more to make space and some excellant defending by Cleo Pryor and Helen Windsor stopped Wycombe entering the Marlow D. Goals came from captain Amelia Barclay and Saskia Enderby in the second half to make the final score 4-0. Marlow are at the top of the HCGL-A with their last game after the Christmas break against an also undefeated Buckingham. This game will be the league decider!!
