The U14 girls had the only game of the day on the Pound Lane pitch, and what a scorcher the weather was. They started strongly with some lovely crosses from the right from Maddy Peacock but the Maidenhead keeper played her part and kept them out. After 10 minutes captain Melike Gerrits weaved past 4 Maidenhead players and struck a lovely ball from the top of the D to open the scoring. Sarah Pearce followed with the second for Marlow 5 minutes later. After the encouraging half time talk from coach Kate Porter, the girls got into their stride and Pearce was in the right place on the left post to score her second and then 3 minutes later to complete her hatrick and Marlow's 4th. Jemima Copeman then amazed the Maidenhead defence to open her scoring and then 4 minutes later scored Marlow 6th with a lovely reverse slap. Amelia Barclay was the last Marlow player to touch the final goal with the game finishing 7-0.
