Champagne on ice, Marlow 3's need a point from 3 games

Only snookers can prevent Marlow 3's from promotion to MBBO division 3, and many of the team will relish the chance to be back at the level where they represented the 2's not so long ago. An emphatic double figures win leaves the team with a 3 point lead over 3rd placed Wycombe, and our neighbours have only one game left and a 15 goal deficit to catch up. 3 promotions for the 3's in 3 years is nearly mathematically complete.

With 3 games to go for Marlow there is still a chance of overtaking Oxford Hawks at the top. On this display it could happen, all 3 of the the regular strikers banged in goals, Ros Walls moved to the top of the division top scoreres with a brace, Che Armstrong netted 4 and Callum Harjette added to his 2 vital derby goals last week with another. All 3 forwards in the top 10 league scorers.

The midfield chipped in too, Chris Burnett with 2 and Rob Postings coming home from Uni at short notice to get on the scoresheet. The reds go to Bracknell next week, followed by 2 home games at the fortress. It could still be a title season based on this performance!
