England Hockey has given the go ahead for the return to play at stage 4.

England Hockey has given the go ahead for the return to play at stage 4. This comes with considerable guidance which we are required to adhere to. We have a responsibility as a club to take the risk of COVID-19 seriously and have undertaken a risk assessment to that effect. As club members we ask that you share and respect the decisions made as part of the return to play.

Your responsibilities -

Before you can play you must fill in the form on the link below. This is stored by England Hockey and will be used to contact you via UK Track and Trace. You cannot play without filling in this form. The COVID Officer will be told who has completed the form at our club.

You will need your own water bottle for every session and to carry your own hand sanitiser.
There will be no toilets, showers or changing at the club for the time being.
You will be required to do a self screen covid declaration before every training session.
No handshakes or group goal celebrations
Maintain social distance before and after sessions
Adhere to one way systems and don’t enter the pitch or hang around in the gate before or after your session.

Parents and Spectators -

You must maintain social distancing around the pitch and gather in groups no larger than 6 and refrain from shouting loudly near others.

Social Distance Hockey Bookings -

These will continue and can be groups of up to 30 on half a pitch, you will be able to book half a pitch from Monday 17th August. Until that date we will continue with 1/4 bookings that have been already booked. However if you book a pitch and organise a session with others you will now have to keep a record of those attending and forward that record to the COVID Officer.

COVID Officer

We are looking for a COVID Officer who will be responsible for the communication with England Hockey, UK Track and Trace and ensure that participant records are retained and sent to England Hockey. Please get in touch if you would like to help out.

Additional help

It is likely that we will need some extra help especially around junior sessions, with registration and ensuring COVID declarations are complete before the sessions can start. Please if you can help we would love to hear from you.
