Without working floodlights we cannot play in the evenings and even during the day at certain times of the year. With regular bulb failures and poor light we are risking the health and safety of our members and impacting their experience. Our annual costs for maintenance, repairs and electricity have reached a level we can no longer afford.

This additional, one time, extra cost comes at a time when the club’s finances are already being impacted by COVID. Normally the club would have received monies during the summer season from hockey camps and summer league fixtures. Therefore, all donations are VERY gratefully received.

It has been great to see so many of you out on the pitch the last month or so for our Socially Distant 1/4 Pitch Bookings. Huge thanks to Kate Porter and the rest of the crew for making it happen.

We have been really lucky to be able to offer this service free of charge (and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future). We have though had many members asking how they can show their thanks to the club for which we would encourage donations to the floodlight fund.

The suggested donation is £5 -£10 per group per session (retroactively and going forward).
