Marlow U16’s faced local club Wycombe this Sunday.  Both teams started well and the match was end to end with opportunities.  Marlow broke the deadlock with a goal expertly converted by Jess Rees.  Marlow’s defence soaked up pressure then from Wycombe as they tried time and again to level the score.  The 2^nd half saw chances for both sides and the Marlow keeper Charlie French made some crucial saves to deny a goal for Wycombe.  With 2 minutes to go Marlow secured the win with a goal from Sarah Cohen.  Final score 2-0 to Marlow – a truly deserved win and Marlow’s first U16 victory.  POM – Elise McDonald
